This has probably been one of the best weeks I’ve ever had. The website really can’t describe the experience of “hauling ass” behind Belinda, up hills and down, while being liberally coated with Wyoming dust the whole crew has been fantastic, and I don’t remember when I have eaten so well. My hores was absolutely fabulous, even when we had a slight brake problem. All in all, a brilliant week – and one I hope to repeat soon.

Thank you so much for such a fantastic holiday. Gabby and Alpine were lovely and so good at getting me down steep slopes safely and giving me some very fast gallops- would take them home with me if I could! Belinda made us feel so at home, Dennis cooked some lovely food (and lots of it!) and Sam made a fantastic backup. Also thanks to Merle for taking all our photos- you all made this a good holiday. Dear Belinda, I thank you for this week. Thanks to your professional leave and the good condition of your herd. I spent a good week and further I made progress being confident with a horse in wild space. Each day we made different kinds of riding ( with cows, horses, working with foals) which represents for me, a real treasure. I also appreciated the camp (and the vodka!) and to see wild animals and different wonderful flowers. Wyoming is really pleasant in summer, hope you will invite me in winter! I prepare my winter coat, hat and shoes”

Your ride looks fabulous. Wish I had known about it 20 years ago. Now at 67 I ride at a much slower, shorter pace. Awakens my longing for the good ‘ol days.

do you allow 68 old women who ride but have few hip problems and can you bring your own horses or wear would you suggest for us senior citizens who want to ride go? JJ

Hi Jane,
If you had your own group and wanted to bring your own horses, instead of using mine, we would have to arrange that ahead of time and schedule a date or dates. I don’t have separate stabling- the horses would have to be kept together in a large corral. Then we could ride at a pace you are all comfortable with. I’d have to schedule your group at a time I did not have any other rides and a gaurantee of at least 5 riders. As for the mountain roads: you can drive south, via, Casper- Shoshone- Worland, and avoid the mountains. Let me know if you have any more questions.
